Default more power bug ????

ok guys I want more power!....

Still on stock engine boosting bout 11-12 psi. making 639 whp

I am thinking either going to a 3.4 pulley and hoping to gain bout 30-40 whp or doing a 50 shot of nitrous .

What do you guys think. I just hit 90k miles on the car I have about 15k miles boosted. and about 3k of them making 639.

If you are still on stock engine I would save for a built engine first, then you can work things up.

How long have you been making that power on a stock motor at sea level?

Whatever you do, keep some money set aside just in case the motor lets go.

Def add meth to cool down the temps.

Meth for sure.Just remember. You're going to be doing a motor sooner or later and if you sell yours it's worth more running then in a basket.

Go for a complete rebuild/ upgrade of everything. A small shot of nitrous or a little more boost is a band-aid for the bigger issue of "Mod Fever".

I recommend more displacement, bigger blower, upgraded fuel system, upgraded drivetrain.... If you plan it right the car will have too much power to be driven sainly around town. I would recommend at least 900rwhp. At this level you will reach the point where you can't go past 1/2 to 3/4 throttle unless you want to leave clouds of smoke below 80mph. At 80mph you will still not be able to hook up but you can take the pedal to the floor with only going sidways a little Just plan your budget for the build and then add another 50% for cost overruns

If you want more power for bragging rights, just lie. Much cheaper

Otherwise until you can handle the power you have at full throttle why bother.

Build the engine first - If you loose fuel or methanol injection it will be detrimental

Really spend a little on a forged bottom end and still buy the pulley - shoot for 15 PSI of Boost and you will not need Nitrous

You have a nice recipe for power but lack the proper ingediants

Thanks,Matt

My builder told me after I do meth to call it a day till I do a forged bottom. I dont think I will get over 600 rwhp before I do a forged engine.

Like he told me plan the next step dont cause it to happen.
Or something along those lines
