You guys about ready for my build thread??
Me too! I've been relatively quiet about it partly because I hate build threads that take forever. Things are starting to come together, so I'll let everyone in on the goods starting now.
Here's the list of mods coming down the pipe.
Dallas Performance built 434 LSX 6-bolt iron block
Polydyne ceramic coated, 10:1 Wiseco pistons.
Callies Dragonslayer crank
Callies Ultra Billet I-beam rods with upgrade pins
ARP hardware holding the main caps in.
Up top, I chose Trick Flow LSX-R 245 6-bolt heads.
I visited with Arun about his choice in cams and blended his philosophy with mine to come up with cam specs. He also shared a Comp Cams lobe profile with me that I've never seen or heard of. It's designed for achieving great valvetrain stability at high RPM's.
After going this far, I discovered that I would feel like an idiot if I put LS7 lifters in the lifter bores and something happened, so I sprang for some top grade Morels.
Many of you know that I sprayed my car with a little 150 shot before tearing it down. I really enjoyed that, so I got with Nitro Dave, owner of Nitrous Outlet and we came up with a really wicked system for my car. I bought a Victor Jr. intake for the car and a 6061 elbow. I got the intake back from Dave last Friday and all I can do is smile when I look at it.
I am still keeping my A&A YSi kit and will spray at will, so be warned
I redesigned the crankcase breathing system and will be working on that as well.
The next item that I struggled with is the clutch. My Textralia triple has been really good to me and I love it, but I wasn't sure if I could expect it to hold what I'm about to spit out at the crank, so I got with the owner of Carolina Clutch and he is building me a RPS Triple Carbon with a heavy duty pressure plate so it will hold my anticipated power.
I just wanted to get this started. Pics coming soon.

HELL YEAH!
We need to talk-wen't into REP on the first pass. I think we should start adding a standalone.
I figure since you already started this thread-you can write about how to do that 2.
Hell you can use the standalone to control 1,2 maybe even 3 stages of nitrous?

When I was over there all I saw was a slow roller and some shiny cylinder heads. I'm sure pics aren't going to do the parts justice.
As usual, I'm seriously looking forward to this thread.
BTW, You owe me a ride since you over promised and under performed when I was over there haha

with those CI and the heads that YSI by itself should pump out over 1100 plus to the rwhp. Then the NOS on top of that going to be one hell of a ride for sure.... I wouldnt want to be around him if he did that after what Arun said he was a few years back on the sliders. Robert
