Great numbers, and very clean install.

Nick, Is there possible room to turn up the boost and hit 900+RWHP should the owner want to? ...If not, what additional mods would be needed to accomplish this.

...Just trying to get a feel for the limitations of a setup like this.

Awesome George, thanks for chiming in on that.

You make it easy with a great kit...

Yes there are multiple threads on here from other builders that 900+ has been achieved.

This car also has a standard set of ARP 12 point head studs, and a STOCK set of LS6 head gaskets. Roadrebel designed cam, nothing fancy here, just a good solid build.

This car is a street car with street tires. We only ran 17 psi on a 382 cube engine. Keeping in mind this is still with a 6265 turbo and the 2.5" down pipes, 19 degrees of timing, 11.5:1 AFR on meth. This was not even taxing the fuel system yet. Nothing conservative but certainly not ragged edge either. Quite honestly if there had not been 7-8 people in the dyno shop watching I would have stopped when I maxed the 2 bar sensor and hit 750.

Oh and for your question about if 6265 or 6266 come in journal.. They do. I run a Journal Bearing 6265 with a .96 A/R on my Supra..

Thanks, Nick. Just keeping my options open for a future build.

The journal bearing are available, I don't recommend using them when running much more that 12 psi the exhaust back pressure is hard on the thrust....just my .02

I dont want to push this thread away from HPM's accomplishments, but are you speaking of the backpressure due to 2.5 and 3 inch DP's? I have run my 6265 journal way over 12psi and know others that have pushed to 40psi. I know our motors move more air, but the PTE6265's are well built even in the journal configuration...

I'm talking about the back pressure in front of the exhaust housing. With the smaller cubes were seeing about 1.5 to 1 but the bigger engines its over 3 to 1. When you have 20 psi of boost and 40psi of back pressure the thrust is going to suffer.

Well that makes sense.. Then I assume on the TTi X lite kit with the old version turbos that problem is worse.

Thanks Nick for posting this.

I'm the one who joined the insanity 14+ mths ago, knowing I'd come back for more.

Just got back home with the car. It runs perfect. I've only rolled into it a couple times so far on the granny mode setting. Will need some serious tire research time now.

Highly recommend this kit. Highly recommend Nick!

Wait till an exotic car like a Ferrari or something roll up next to you trying to show off and you waste them. The smile will still be on your face the next morning while you are sitting on the stool taking a dump.
