Very, very little, compared to most twin disc clutches I could say no. The discs have small wafer style springs on them that keep them from rattling, and also center the discs between each other so they do not have the tendency to drag each other like many twin discs do.

True, but we intentionally gave you incorrect information!

Kidding!!! I think many would be surprised with how many times a day the phones rings with a conversation that starts with "I have a question about my A&A kit" I do sometimes wonder why they are not calling Andy instead, maybe they are just looking for a second opinion, but we gladly answer any question asked to the best of our ability.

Thanks Robert!!
Everyone here is willing to help anyone with info, tech help etc regardless of who built your car or what parts were used. Sometimes it eats up a fair amount of our day, but we feel it comes back to us in the long run.
You are right though, our racers know that if we line up I'm going to try for the win period, regardless of points standings, how much you have spent with us over the years, or even money owed.

Luckily it hasn't happened where I bumped one of our top guys from a win, so it hasn't been an issue yet, but then there's always next season when I'll be racing in the same classes as 4DRUSH and Digivex. Hopefully they wont get too upset with me. (and the winter smack talk commences)

so this is just me thinking ahead a couple years, but i'm thinking down the road, i'm wanting to do a stroker in my FRC (somewhere around a 402 for now) & transfer my TVS to it @ 12-15psi. would this be the twin disk territory, i'd imagine?

right now, i'm safetied @ 8psi on my LS1 pushing 480whp/473tq through my stock clutch & am trying to get an idea of what to replace it with. the car's a weekend cruiser that sees some spirited butt-hauling occasionally as well as a road race every few months. not very much drag racing.

what would be a recommendation?

I think the single would work, but a stroked 402 and a TVS would make a lot of TQ, so there's no point in running the clutch right on the edge of what it can hold.
Thats just going to lead to a premature failure.

The 9000 series twin would be your best option IMO.

Both clutches relly are nice, but the pedal feel of the twin is honestly better then stock IMHO, I think you will be very happy with it.

Are there any options between the er2 and 9000? I'm at the limit of the er2, but can't justify the $1000 increase with my setup....

Unfortunately not, what kind of power are you making?

Your welcome! We end up taking them out of the case to ship because it increases the already expensive shipping costs, sorry. We end up just throwing them away acually.

Right now 630, but I would like a little room to grow. I don't ever see it making 1000.

The single is good to 700rwhp +-, it can handle more, but it's never a good idea to be right on the edge of the clutch. For instance we have many stock clutch C6's with over 700rwhp, but I wouldnt replace the clutch with another stocker.
