I have a 98' and I just finished my cam install and I am going to get it tuned here at the first of the year. Is a 125 shot safe as long as I get my car tuned for nitrous and get my tuner to make sure my A/F is correct?

My car isn't a daily driver just a weekend warrior and occasionally I drive it to work. Thanks in advance for your input.

I know that lol GOTTA PAY TO PLAY haha just wanted a few opinions and my main thing that I still want it to run well on just motor and I know when he tunes for the nitrous some timing will be added.

125 shot isn't too much for the motor as long as it's in good shape and tuned properly.

I had a 99 Trans Am M6, MS3 cam only deal with a NX150 wet kit on it.... Car made 392rwhp on motor (timing pulled back for spray), made 546rwhp on the 150hp shot... I sprayed about 10-15 bottles through it on 93 oct...... Never had a problem and it was still running strong for the 2nd owner.... Although it only had 39k miles when I sold it in 09.


As long as you have a GOOD fuel pump and keep the timing conservative, you will be fine.... Also keep the plugs in the TR6 or 7 range...


Spray is a blast.....nothing feels as good as that first hit of the button...
