N2O on a BONE stock motor
I have a 2000 FRC with 90k. The car is bone stock. First question is, can I find a kit that runs a 75 shot? Is 100 safe? Second question is, is it safe? I have the stock LS1 timing chain as well.
I am looking for bang for the buck HP. I love the car but it is a toy and don't want to **** the wife off by spending to much. I am looking at a Vararaam at the same time.

Thank you.
That brings me to a 3rd question. With a good N2O tune, will that give me the most I can get N/A as well? Or will I lack in all motor with an N2O tune?

I have a kit I want to sell. I bought used when I had my gto and never installed it. It is a 78mm tb plate with 75-150 Hp jets, bottle heater, remote opener, brand new window switch from nitrous outlet(cost $225), all the lines. Just news mounting brackets for the solenoids. I'd sell for $600. Pm me if you want pics.

No it will not give you the most out of the car NA. the N2o tune will pull some timing...if you want the best of both worlds go with a lingenfelter controller or msd timing twister. they both pull timing only when your n2o system is armed.

I personaly prefer the lingenfelter to pull timming as well. It can pull up to 15 degrees and has a 0-5 volt reference wire so that you can varify the amount of timing being pulled.
As a small bonus the unit has a two step as well.

I used a ZEX wet kit with 75 shot. I liked the simplicity of the zex kit. at the time my motor was stock, and had an A&A kit on 8psi and had 130k miles. The install instructions said no need to pull timing with 75 shot, you could to be safe. I ran about 6 bottles through my engine and never had a problem, now I switched over to meth injection. I have a vararaam intake I no longer need if you want one. would need a new filter.

I have sprayed a 150hp shot(wet kit) on more stock LS1s then I can count.... NEVER had a problem... Just make sure you have a good fuel pump. Hell I only pulled timing out on the head/cam cars....
On a 150 wet kit: NGK TR6 plugs, 93 oct, conservative timing, good fuel pump(I always used Racetronix w/hot wire kit).....Never ever had any problems.... I had a nitrous refill station in my garage if that tells you anything...LOL
Dry kits...you are on your own...
I usually use NX kits or Harris... I did install a Dynotune kit once and it was nice as well...
