Im in the middle of a Auto swap. Im using this thread as a tool. Can you post link to the RPM harness I need? Also im going to copy you and use that PCS TCM-2000 like you did...Any advise? I have the Auto wiring harness complete front to back.. What else do I need wiring, or electrialy speaking?
I made a thread here http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...ap-2-guys.html
You should call rpm as they don't list the harness on their website. They can also help you with all your wiring questions.
It seems a lot of people get anxious when wiring situations come up - myself included. As it turns out, with one phone call to rpm, all my questions were answered. I got the harness from them. The only electical work needed is to take the rpm harness and wire it into the PCM. It's not as big a deal as it seems.
In your case with the stand alone controller, I have no idea how it works, but I bet the op will be happy to help.

PLEASE HELP me with advise.
With the pcs controller, u do not need the rpm harness or any other wiring harness. The pcs has there own harness you need.
The wiring harness looks hard but most of the wire you wont use. No other wiring needed.
All you have to connect is a 12v switched, ground, tps, tach, and vehicle speed sensor. I mounted the controller behind the pass seat and ran the wires through the e-brake hole.

That is some great information thank you. Do have any part numbers for the harness I need from PCS TCM
3). The purple and yellow wires from the clutch don't have to be pulled out, as the new harness will have the proper wires that attach to the neutral safety switch.
Thanks.

Ok I have the Auto wiring harness ran and all my Auto parts. Got my manual brake pedal out. sucked but got it out.
Im unsure what I need to do about the clutch safety switch? So I have to run those two wires back to the transmission? Can I loop them? cancel them out?

Which way are you going auto to stick or stick to auto ?
If you're going from stick to auto. The wires should be in your tansmission harness that run back to the safety switch on the auto trans.
The additional harness that you get from RPM "C146" would give you the other side.
If you jump the yellow and purple wires together you car can be started in gear and that could be dangerous.
If you're using a transmission controller, you make up two wires (yellow and purple and run them from the safety switch inside the car out to C146 as a quick fix to your problem.

Thanks for the response. Keeping this thread alive.
Im going from Stick to Auto in my FRC. I got the full harness from a same year Auto car. My manual wiring harness did not run to the connection of the swith under the clutch pedal. So are you saying I do nothing with the wires that went to the switch under my clutch pedal becouse the Auto wiring harness gets its safety start another way? Again thanks for your brain cells on this.
