Also, I have the seal plate thingy that goes between the auto and rear and will ship it to you just for shipping cost. It's brand new with both seals. I accidentally bought it locally forgetting I bought it through RPM with all my other parts. Brand new it's like 100 bucks and I don't need it.
I also have
auto brake pedal
stock cooler lines
just pay shipping and it's all yours.

Local guy is selling an automatic setup from a 99. I have a 2001 Z, would love to pick it up and swap it in. Been through this thread a couple times but cant find a definite list of what stuff ill need. The setup im looking at is everything from bell housing back, rear cradle and all. Pedal assembly? Flex plate?
Pedal isn't mandatory as I kept the manual brake pedal. If you're getting all that then you'll need the mounting bracket for the gear selector cable that goes under the tunnel and a way to weld it up, flexplate and bolts and repin the PCM and flash it for a auto or buy the PCS controller.
Don't *** with the pcs controller. Get your PCM reflashed and re-pin your PCM. It's not as hard as it sounds. In fact, it's quite easy. I posted a pin out sheet earlier in the thread for a 2001.
Flex plate, TT adapter plate, TT, trans, diff seal, shifter, shifter cable, cable mounting bracket, key lock cable (it goes from the ignition key to the shifter assembly)
Auto trans harness
Get the conversion harness from RPM transmission. $250 or so and worth it.
Your diff will bolt to the auto trans, but you need the seal plate that goes between the two.
May as well get a new converter since the stock converter will suck.
Even a built 4L60e is a time bomb. The transmission you're getting is a stock non rebuilt 15yr old transmission? If so, then yes I would rebuilt it with better parts.

Any pics of this cable? This is first I've read about this.
Went to the track. Brother was on street tires and couldn't do much (2009 GT500). I think his best time was 13.2 @ 117. He needs to get real tires since a PD pump and street tires don't mix.
First run I spun then went sideways once it downshifted to first again, 12.3 @ 122. Second and last run below
60' 2.080
330' 5.333 <-- eased into it to much? seems really high
1/8 7.797 @ 100.09 <-- time is garbage
1/4 11.693 @ 127.78
Had to ease into the gas with the whack 555Rs, didn't have time to put on the Hoosiers. I probably eased into it to long but traction wasn't there. Didn't have my laptop to scan with hptuners but I watched my AFR gauge and it stayed around 10.3 and it seemed to shift to early. I have a bad tbolt clamp that is barely on so I think I wasn't hitting full boost and causing the rich AFR. But with that sixty I thought I would break into the high 6s in the 1/8 atleast. I got 7.1x when it was a manual.
Next time to the track will be at the new home track of Tulsa. I'm going to log it how it sits next time out just to see if I'm bleeding off boost with that clamp. I had it on the TB but I could pull the hose off with it tightened down so I moved it to the IC pipe going to the TB.
Still love the auto and smoothness of the shifts. Stick it in 3 and go. Had the car retuned a few weeks ago and it put down 560rwhp on meth. With the manual it did 624rwhp without meth.
I had my DSLR camera and was taking some video of cars going down the track and filmed a truck do his burnout then went to stage and it caught fire.
Dude start another thread for this stuff so we don't muddy up this Auto Swap thread that is already way off track.. Its stickied for a reason.
nope didn't use it on mine.
He must be talking about the NSS which wont let you start the car unless your in park or neutral
Yes, that's the cable I'm talking about. It is not really needed. Sometimes I wish I hadn't installed it. But the one time I start it in gear, I would've been pissed that I didn't.
