I did my 1st one about 4 or 5 years ago before RPM was selling the conversion harness. I took a 04 Z06 and a 01 auto Vette and converted the Z06 to auto and the auto vette to 6 spd. Since then I have done several more. Not bad once you do the 1st one. I used the factory ECM to control the trans on the ones I have done.
Good luck

Yes I still run the 6spd brake pedal, it saves the hassle if I switch back. I pulled the clutch pedal assembly and covered the hole in the firewall. The original cruise control cancel switch is still in place on the brake pedal. I'm also using the factory computer to control the trans. Might save you some $$$ to return it. I was told I would need a stand alone controller for a 4L80.

Don't forget to zip tie the switch or permanently connect your clutch switch wires before you bother trying to start your car.
Take lots of pictures so dummies like me can figure it out if and when I have a total breakdown and decide to go auto.

The clutch switch wires are run to the neutral safety switch if you want it to work properly
