Plus there is not a 50 state CARB legal head unit that is good for over 600rwhp. So your basically stuck with the basic setups.

Not to mention that you cannot run longtube headers or radical cams.

Plus you cant legally run turbo(s) other than the STS kits.

Are you kidding me? You need to do more research.......

I have an 04 too....same fuel system as you. I have a C6Z fuel pump and a boost-a-pump. I'm good for fuel to 750rwhp. Oh...and the T-trim has the CARB id too, and it's good for well over 650rwhp.

Try running with the big boys here that are making 800, 900, 1000+ rwhp. Anything beyond 700rwhp with a LPE C6Z pump and boost-a-pump is running on the ragged edge. Where I have been in Michigan where there are no emissions ( where I vacation in the summer ) that is where 800rwhp street cars are not uncommon.

Anything beyond the basics needs a more hearty fuel system.

Or something from Lonnies Performance.

-Stage3.1 C5 fuel system-
*Lonnies/Racetronix Dual Walbro pumps installed in your sender
*Complete PnP wire harness w/ hobbs switch or nitrous switch
*Nasty billet LS1 fuel rails
*MagnaFuel boost ref. Regulator
*GM fuel filter
*-6 braided return line
*and all fittings needed to complete the install
Retail $1329.99 Intro price$1279.99

Second completely replaces all stock components and adds a larger feed line and billet fuel filter for more volume

-Stage3.2 C5 fuel system-
*Lonnies/Racetronix Dual Walbro pumps installed in your sender
*Complete PnP wire harness w/ hobbs switch or nitrous switch
*Nasty billet LS1 fuel rails
*MagnaFuel boost ref. Regulator
*MagnaFuel billet fuel filter
*-8 braided feed line
*-6 braided return line
*and all fittings needed to complete the install
Retail $1649.99 Intro Price$1559.99

I'm not trying to ruin the OPs thread nor am did I mean to offend you tlove32. If you are able to run an extreme fuel system with upgraded fuel rails with a return type fuel system then you have magical powers.

Also technically the only 50 state CARB certified COMPLETE supercharger kit is the procharger Stage2. A & A only has the head units with a CARB EO number. Soon they should have complete kits with that have the E0 #.

800+...and that's a whole knew ballgame. But...I know of 2 people deep into the 700's with a A&A fuel system that have passed smog (both have T-trim blowers)

Like I said....I've passed CA smog twice with my setup - No gimics, and no paying someone under the table

That's good that they can pass with T-trim head units.

If people you know are passing with the fuel system in the link below that's amazing.

That's amazing. I don't know of any local emission shops in my area that would ever pass me if I had that on my car.

Your story is AWESOME!!! I have a Mill Yellow C5 Z with 36K miles. This A&A kit was recommended to me by Mike over at Vengeance here in Georgia today. So of course I came straight home to do some research. I see this was written just over 2 years ago. How is the car today? What issues did you find? Thanks in advance for your response!

This is an exciting story. I just dropped my car off today to have my A&A kit installed and tuned. Should have it back in a week and a half. Cars got 87k miles on it with long tube headers, catless xpipe, and Borla straight pipes. I cant wait to get it back.

My setup is similar except I went with a Cam and an 8 rib setup. She put down 635RWHP. Ive put 10,000 miles on her so far and its amazing.

Default More power for supercharger

Hey boyz I got a c5 supercharged n meth injected zo6 661RWHP 10.01-140mph best time, motor is stock all bolt ons, what else can I do for this engine to make more power? I bought the car done. Am I tapped out for this or would a bigger intake n throtle body help ,or do I have to open up the engine? N if I do what am I looking for to make 1000 rwhp? N she has a c6 rear end in it now. I know this can get expensive if I have to put better rear end in n driveshaft, but now these cars r not so fast anymore unless ur making 1000+HP
THANKS FOR ANY REPLYS CHEERS!.🇨🇦

You are already pushing what you can do with a stock engine. If you want to go to the edge, consider e85 and tune for zero detonation.

better heads, cam, intake will of course help. Upgrade the fuel system and valvetrain to get the rpms up to get into the sweet spot on the blower.

Update the balancer with a good one before you watch the stocker bounce down the street (ask me how I know)

I wouldn't try 1000 hp on a stock engine unless you want to pick up your pistons out of the oil pan.

it's asking alot out of a built motor and must past 700 on a stocker is hiding a brick by throwing it way up in the air.

you'll need a d1x or better to hit 1000 hp

that's a smoking time for a stock block!!! You might just keep pushing it and have a spare ready

I have a few engines if you like in the c5 parts section that would support that 1000 hp target.

good start with the c6 rear, you will need lots of more driveline mods to hook and survive 1k hp

DSS drive shaft, half shafts, and SFI cert stuff and a cage to go faster unless you just plan "hero runs" and getting thrown off the track.

How does it affect handling and weight distribution, I got my C5Z a few weeks back and it is pretty much stock except for a CAI, I only wonder about putting that much weight on the nose upsetting the balance of the car in corners. I would also try and increase cooling so I can run sustained in boost if I go the supercharger route.
