Default What nitrous kit are you running and why?

I'm about to add some nitrous to my 03 Z06. I've used nitrous on the past on my fbodies but haven't had any on my Z yet.
What kit do you run?

Nitrous Outlet....FTW...
1) Customer service is outstanding.
2) They have a vast understanding of the LS platforms strengths and weaknesses.
3) They always stay on top of the evolving tech & nitrous theories.
4) Work hand-n-hand with the top innovators of the nitrous industry (and they are innovators in their own right).
5) Work in close contact with some of the best tuners in the country for product feedback.
6) Can ALWAYS get them on the phone !!!

And about what kit to get.......they offer everything from dry to wet....to plates to nozzles (single or dp)....to stand alone to rail supplied. And even hidden systems.........

And the kit really depends on your intentions, existing mods, goals and budget.

Good luck with your choice....

Thanks...........

WoW LSOHOLIC

You sure keep yourself a darn clean combustion chamber

Sounds like those guys really know their Nitrous.

With the exception of dollar store whipped cream, I have no nitrous. I only have my pants, with not much money in them.
I have over 100 grand of miles on my car and I don't want to hurt the motor or make it too loose at this stage of it's life.
I think your 03's stock CR is what? 10:1? or 10.5?
If I planned to use it a lot, I would flash my computer or run a 160 degree OT program with the custom lower thermostat needed.

As quickly that the temp rises in those cylinder heads, I would feel more comfortable with a wider temp window to fit my *** through.
I guess I don't live on the edge as nuch as I used to.

N20 Outlets or NX...best kits, best solenoids. ZEX's plate is supposedly the best one (just the plate).

After all the good things I had read and seeing the Nitrous Outlet help people with stuff on ls1tech, I ordered a nitrous outlet kit.

102 mm single stage plate kit, 15lb bottle
3000 psi nano kit
Nitrous outlet c5 specific stand alone fuel system
Harris Speed Works Micro edge +

Should have it all installed and numbers either tomorrow or thursday.

Looking forward to seeing those #s. I was about to pull the trigger on the same setup, but decided to ask Colorado Speed what they recommended (got a great deal on my VaraRam system when they were still called "Byun Speed" last year), & he said, "Start with NX, they have the most options." Then, I got confused by their online catalog page that has a NX logo next to the exact system you ordered from Nitrous Outlet. I'll see what he says in response to my pointing that out to him, but will still prb'ly order the 102mm plate sys you got, 'cept w/a 10lb bottle. CO Speed has a 15% discount until the 6th (I think that's the end date), so that rig comes off at $616.24 vs $724.99 "regular price." Here's the link if anyone's interested, ignore the mistaken NX logo -neva mind, they just fixed the mistaken logo; http://www.coloradospeed.com/index.p...ducts_id=20152

Best regards,
...z

When I ran nitrous on my mustang I had a nx kit, but I always had the guys at nitro Dave's (nitrous outlet) work on it, couldn't be happier with those guys. So my vote is nitrous outlet
