Well I'm a big fan of the mt et street bias in a straight line for street or track but hate the lack of cornering. I'm still stock for gearing so launch is always tricky on drag radials. I've tryed bfg 315 dr in 17 and in 18 with either a spin or bog scenario. The et streets bias at 22 psi (I know it's high but didn't want to dead hook) netted me consistent 1.6 60 on na and spray. What I hear is the bias will et but mph will suffer to the amount of 2-4 mph lower traps. I didn't build the new combo for drag so I'm really looking for mph at the track since that's what tells what the car will do on the street. Thoughts guys?

I have only ran my Z06 on nitto 555Rs and it never 60'd on them. But on my 71', I have played with ET Drag slicks (bias) and ET Street Radials, it ran 2 mph faster on the radials and was way more stable. It went low 1.50 60's on both. I prefer the radials on that car since its automatic.
With the stick Z06, drag radials scare me at the strip because of wheel hop... I already broke a RH C6 stub axle at the track on nittos...
Its a catch 22 for me.. I worry about breaking parts on drag radials from wheel hop but I also worry about the car swaying on the big end with bias plys. I'll probably try the radials first and just be easy on it just to get a feel for it, then switch to bias plies down the road.
