I have all the parts for the build EXCEPT a bunch of bolts that I need!
I sold my complete Long block.
Any chance that any of you know the specs or have the following bolts for........
Valve covers?
Oil pan bolts to install on block?
Valley cover?
Front and Rear covers?
TB and Intake?
I will be reusing the bolts for the front accessories
I would like to make 1 trip to Fastenal and order these up, sucks that I will have to go through GM for the Valve cover bolts for the sleeve and grommet .
Thanks for your help!

Have the iron blocks changed in the past 12/13 years?
I noticed the IV cast into the front of the block.
Never seen those cyl. heads before, Compstar is offshore, hopefully these will prove to be as good.

Looks like we are doing almost the same thing to our cars. I stayed with cathedral heads and intake topend. I'm curious to see what numbers you put up. I'm doing it with a 10rib ysi setup also.

I didn't know you were also doing a 390? Thats cool, we should make similar power. The YSI has more potential than a 2k so it will depend how hard you push it! Either way it will be interesting to see both of our results!

I'm pretty sure Mike is going to order the -3.2 to get my CR at 10.0:1
Also what cam did you choose?

Yeah I bought the engine new off another forum member. It has -15 diamond pistons. My compression is 9.5:1 might be a little lower with the worked 317 heads. I have two cams right now one spec'd from AES and a LG Blower cam that my turner wants to keep in the car so we'll see how that works out.

Well thought and well designed package, in theory loioks great and will make astounding numbers, iam sure it will just do pretty close in reality.
Love this package man. Kind of reminds me of my C4 383 stroker went complete engine bottom to top but nitrous fed though....gone are those good financial days, had to deal and satisfy with my stock short block now....

I like this build. ~Budget friendly with money spent in all the right places.
Where are the knock sensors in your current motor? Mine being an LS2 I had to find places for the new style knock sensors to bolt onto the side of the LQ block, kinda ghetto. Then get an LS6 valley pan. Lastly I had to get a dummy crank sensor to plug the hole in the rear as mine is in the front cover.
I used to have a favorite for some site that had all the bolts for the LS motors in a chart but I can't find it.
