Default new build: finally coming together

ive had my car for about 1.5years now. i threw i t trim on the car within a few months of owning it. its been at the 575rwhp mark for near all of that time. ive had a blast, put about 10k miles on it, had a few track outings etc but im getting bored of it.
ive been piecing together a new build and its finally starting to come along. it took 3 months of ordering parts, and im finally about to drop everything off at the engine builder.
details
engine:
brand new ls2 block
stock bore/stroke
ls9 head gaskets
callies dragonslayer crank
callies ultra I beam rods
coated diamond pistons
total seal rings
slp double chain
slp high volume oil pump
ls6 intake
arp head studs
arp main studs
arp rod bolts

valvetrain:
AFR 230cc heads with inconell exhaust valves. double springs,ti retainers. 72cc chambers
ls7 lifters
ls1/6 rockers
truinon upgrade
arun cam

blower:
a&a v3 t trim, 2.95 pulley
10 rib setup from arun
custom 15% IW crank pulley from arun
DP flip drive
tial 50mm bov
custom 4in blower intake

fuel:
holley rails
lpe intank with KB BAP
custom fuel system from a member on here
magna fuel 4303 pump on boost switch
60lb injectors(for now)
ecs fuel block

exhaust:
kooks 1 7/8 headers
catless x
corsa catback

drive-train:
hinsion motor mounts
rxt clutch
brand new zr1 transmission
c6z diff
rkt56 offset mounts

suspension:
c6 z06 mono spring rear
c6 z51 sway bars front and rear

i know the motor is far capable of more then what the baby t trim can supply but im going to utilize what i have and just get the car back on the road and broken in and see how it handles etc. i will eventually go YSI in the very near future.

few pictures

Yea the cOntrol arms pictured are brand new c6 arms. There are 2 options when doing the swap, run coilovers and you can keep the stock c5 arms or to use your stock shocks and c6 mono spring you need the c6 arms. The way the mono spring mounts the the arms is different between the 2 generations. A c5 the mono spring is bolted, a c6 the mono spring has pads.

well, dropped everything off at the engine builder last friday. they told me expect a 2-3 week wait as they have around 4 motors ahead of mine. they are going to break the motor in on a engine dyno. i figured this would be a good idea so i can go easy on the trans/diff/clutch for a few hundred miles.

im also having them modify the ECS fuel block. they are going to drilltap a hole on the flat side to fit a -6an return, make it nice and clean/simple when its time to install. also having them install the fitting and cap it in the new ls2 pan for the YSI oil return line for when i go to swap, will make it a very easy swap when the time comes.

i also ordered my new wheels and the LG spindles
17x8 front
15x10 rear
weld rts polished

ill be running nitto nt 05 fronts
MT pro 275/60 15 rear
trying my hardest to make this beast hook!

i plan on going to the track a few times this year but until i install a cage it will be kind of pointless. part of me wants to and the other part doesn't want to cage it
updated the first post with some pics of the car

We just use the factory return port, that way it flows back into the factory bucket same as stock. We use an adapter that goes from the factory line to a -6.
If I remember correctly it's the middle port on the sending unit.

Nice build btw.

Awesome build list bro... looks like a badass powerhouse. I am jealous of the trans/diff setup.

thanks bud, the swap is not bad $$ wise. its honestly not much more then a all out built t56 and c5 diff it actually might be a little less and the zr1 trans and c6diff is ALOT stronger just in stock form. i actually don't have much $ into the swap even with brand new parts.

If my calculations are correct you are going to be overspinning by 13k RPM....seems like a huge stretch to me but keep us posted

It would be a good set up for a ysi though....put you right at 65k at 7000 rpm
