A&a vortech users- please help
I have a v1 but my bracket crapped out so now my a&a bracket is on the way. My old ducting is totally different than the a&a an I am wondering - do you have to lower the radiator to get the sc inlet pipe, and the intercooler outlet pipe over the radiator?
Or could I just trim the top?

I don't have the whole a&a kit which is why I wanted to ask. I've read the instructions and they drop the rad support. I'm just asking if that's an absolute necessity to run piping (not theirs) over the rad

Even with a DeWitts supercharger radiator, I had to lower my cradle 7/8" to get enough clearance for the supercharger. This is with a 3.5" intake pipe which is a straight shot into my Vortech V3Si with an A&A Bracket. Upside is I have a ton of room for the upper intercooler pipe, also 3.5" diameter.
This is a pic of my upper IC pipe and my supercharger intake pipe. 3.5" stainless steel.
Pipe routing.
1 piece 3" stainless lower IC pipe.

Doesn't matter if you have the whole kit. Only read the part that includes the parts that you do have. It will reveal that even with the radiator lowered with their cradle lowering kit, it still requires an offset intake pipe. Only you know the details behind your " piping (not theirs)" so you could use the "stare and compare" method.
