i dont know the rating on this turbo. i know its done over 1k whp on a 3.4 stroker supra. looking to be in the 700whp range think its got enough air for that. trying to spool as fast as possible and not choke up top.

so you swapped to auto gears in your 3-rib? that should help initial spooling

We decided we are going to go with a divided housing with a .96 ar. We are also going to run a quick spool valve. Might as well get the most out of it. Car is on the rack and underway. Will be posting pics as we go.

Good call on upgrading turbine. I was gonna recommend a bigger unit after reading the .81 ar in the first post.

turns out they dont make a divided housing for this turbo so the quick spool valve is out for now. We are sticking with the .81 unless it stops us from making 650+

If 650 is all you're shooting for then you MAY be fine. It may just hurt it some up top!

why are you using a 5.3 if you want 700hp the stock ls1 or ls6 will work unless you toasted your stock ls1 already?

I had a 403 with a 150 shot actually. Made 535 NA. Had a ls7 small bore top end. 6 k on that motor and two hits of the nitrous. Intake valve head broke off and took out bout everything. I decided I'm done spending 10k+ on motors so I went this route.
