Not sure if this helps , I think its saying this is easier than dropping the tank to install a pump , if you have not read this it just might help you .

That isn't an option my tuner thinks will supply enough fuel with a stock pump. Plus, Racetronix doesn't have the best customer service.

Your tuner is guessing that it may work? Don't skimp out upgrade your fuel pump. Caspers electronics carries the same stuff that's who I used and they are cheaper. Any vendor will sell you a pump.

Go with A&A, UPP or ECS and be done with it.

My tuner is one of the best in the country. Our numerous SCCA National Championships will attest to his tuning ability. He has tuned many, many supercharged and turbocharged LS engines, so I trust him when he tells me what I need.
The hotwire kit is good insurance over production wiring and I intend to use one. I'm looking for a 255lph pump that comes with an installation kit for a C5 with the ffs fuel system. I've dealt with John Spina for many years since my personal playtoy is a Grand National.
This is my first dealings with a supercharged C5. I've looked at ECS, Lingenfelter, Ragin Racin, and Fore for fuel pumps and kits and they all seem to have ones that use AN lines or an external pump. I even looked at amazon. I need one that fits inside the production fuel tank and works with production fuel lines.

Here is a really nice set-up for the C5/6 fuels systems and their customer service is exceptional, took the time to speak with me at leangth for my buddies Vette -

You can get an adpter for the AN line to go to the factory fuel fitting if you so desire!

/QUOTE]

FFS came out MY2003 and continued until 2013. I haven't had a C7 tank out- yet, but they look similar in design. The pump modules go in from the top of the tank on a FFS system, not the bottom like yours. FFS is the GM rpo code. Whereas yours has a rubber hose as a fuel crossover and those small plastic lines for the jet pump, the FFS has it all part of the crossover pipe that is now metal and the trans/diff needs to be lowered enough to flex the crossover to remove it from the tanks.

Awesome - you will really like talking with them, very respectful and very helpful!

They can even set-up the pumps where the second one comes on during boost with their controller - very clean and trick set-up IMHO!

"IF" I had a '04+ Up this is the system I would run!

Thanks,Matt
