For compact oil drains...these work good, just chop off the threads and weld on a bit of 5/8" alloy tube

Or I'd have slotted the difficult end so you wouldnt need to fully undo that bolt.

Haven't visited this thread in too long. Really nice work! I love your custom engine mounts! I was looking at mine and how much material I needed to remove to gain good clearance and came up with the same idea of just rebuilding them. I hope your transmission is doing well.

I'm gonna start making these on the plasma table soon. They'll be cheaper than hinson mounts too. Transmission is fine, diff is a little noisy. Gonna try some amsoil goodness in it and see if that helps.
Got a ton of cleanup to do but. It's almost wrapped up.

What I found with mine, where they vent under the car is that I find them horrendously loud....but from outside the car, comments from others etc etc....they're really not loud at all.

Idk if I can live with them dumped. I like my car quiet. I will probably route them back into the downpipes.

That said, I did DIY fab some small mufflers to try and dampen the noise a little from some aluminium tube for an outer shell and some 2" perforated tube for the inner.. Not really sure how much it quietened them though lol, they were only about 5" long.
