nitrous is finished ,did a couple test hits
ok got my ls timing tuner in last week and have it set for 3000 on and off at 6500 and timing retard at 3 degrees,i only have 75 shot for testing, will increase later on.I got the kb boost a pump in and racetronix hot wire kit also stock 04 pump.I tested it out and it comes on at 3000 and shuts off at 6500 before the rev limiter, the wideband was reading 10.8-11.2 and fuel pressure stayed steady at 59 lbs, only dropped on intial hit to 56lbs but right back up.I have colder plugs in it pulled them and they were slightly rich but not sure what to look for the electrode,if i could get some feedback on the timing mark that would be great.I still need to get a bottle heater bottle pressures were at 900 but its getting colder out and i can only test it out in the afternoons, bottles too cold.I want to go to 100 or 125 shot but not sure if stock pump can handle more or not im now over 500 rwhp.oh also how much do you think i can handle if i changed pump ,its a h/c/i/e forged bottom end.could it go to 200 shot?

What mods do you have? I used to spray 150 off the rails with stock pump on my bolt on 01 c5. I have a stand alone now I'm going to be installing soon. I'm at 480 rwhp now on a mustang dyno with stock pump and not having any problems (no spray with ls7 yet).

You can get away with a little more, but the 200 shot will probably need a stand alone. That initial lean spike is only going to get worse as you up the nitrous shot.

There are other guys running 200 shot with the stock fuel system modded, like you have. 150 is the limit of the stock rods but you said you have a forged bottom. I would think you would be safe but the only way to make sure is slowly work your way up and keep an eye on your AF ratio. I have a 150 shot on my car with a stock bottom end and modded fuel system, like yours. I make 550 at the rear wheels with no problems with AF ratio.

I just pulled a 200 hit off my HCI car for a blower swap...
Stock bottom end and it never hiccuped. I did have a standalone with c16 for the spray, though.

Bottle heater and the jets for 100 and 150 shot came in.I installed the 100's and left everything the same , ill pull 4 degrees out to be safe right now still at 3.The 100 felt a lot better afr at 12.0 fp dropped to 53 then back to 57-58.I have my 325/30/19 nitto invo's on for the street and they break loose at 50 .Ill put the drag radials on and do a test.Going to the track Tuesday to see how it runs 10.99 I'm hoping for.

PatsLs1vette, I think you will go way better than 10.99. Your signature says you ran 11.4 n/a. Adding nitrous really increases torque, which should help with 1/4 mile runs. I am betting you hit 10.75 with a good launch. Good luck and let us know your results.

Pat, several years back I had a 100 shot on my bolt on 6 speed C5. I ran a. 10.84 at Atco. Pulled the bottle out and ran an 11.50/60 (can't quite remember)
I'm sure you'll reach your goals.
Good luck!

Sorry to hear about your problems. I was really hoping to see some good numbers from you. I am glad to hear that the problem was not something really bad. Let us know when you get to run it.
