Default Amsoil Slip Lock Gear Oil Additive

I know this is not "needed" when using Amsoil 75w90 diff lube, but is there any down side besides the $8 to putting it in. Motive 3.90 gears...
As a side note, does anyone else have more trouble going into 1st than any other gear from a dead stop? Sometimes I have to go into 2nd and then up into 1st to make sure it's all the way in?
Put in fi/nitrous as I figured more abuse of diffs.

Amsoil alread has the correct aomount of slip lock in - if your diff is operating properly, do not add any more. If you add too much, your clutches may slip.

Depends on your goals. If you only street drive your car, probably not a significant downside to using extra additive. If you take it to the drag strip, having too much additive reduces the effectiveness of the limited slip diff which will hurt you off the line. Probably a similar thought if you auto-x. On the track (road course), where there are very few corners where you get inside wheel spin, probably no downside to having too much additive.

Great vendor here to deal with, will not get any better prices anyplace.
