Nitrous Newb: Need Advice w/ Installing Easy 125 shot
Hey all, 01 Z06 with LG headers, and an LS7 clutch/ Fidanza flywheel. Other than new stock replacement AC Delco plugs and some suspension mods, the motor is stock with 70k miles. Runs great, and I've done some preventative maintenance, like RPM torque tube bushings, and C6 Z06 internals in the factory diff.
I have a grudge match in a week's time, it will be a roll race (I have a set of 335 Hoosiers).
What is the easiest way to get a 75-125 shot into this car?
I've ran harnesses through the firewall for fuel pressure and wideband gauges, so I have a path for hoses and switch wires to travel through.
This will be a temporary install, that I will clean up later.

Single nozzle wet kit should be the easiest. Just tap the fuel rail, drill a hole in the air bridge, and wire it up. You will probably need to change the plugs and have the tune modified to remove some timing though. Unless you are going to spend some money on electronics to remove timing and control the nitrous.

Exactly.
If you can find a LNC-002 used pick it up and use it to pull timing.
Take the schreader (sp?) valve out of the fuel rail and mount the fuel solenoid there.
Mount the nozel in the airbrigde.
I sprayed a 100 shot on a stock motor with headers. Picked up about .8. I pulled 3 degrees with the controller and changed plugs.
Good luck.

Thanks guys. I have HP Tuners so I'll use the search function to get info on pulling timing. So far I've only disabled the rear o2's to remove the check engine light. I'll pick up some plugs, any ideas on which plugs? I'm thinking about the NOS kit which uses a microswitch and a 78mm plate. Seems easier and faster to install than the other kits that use more electronics.
