Look in the upper neck, the one that connects to the upper radiatior hose, and tell me what you see?
Really u don't know..thought u knew everything..lol
Use a 2" wrench take the fitting off its inside there ..comes with a 180 stat
I figured out that you have to remove the thermostat from the stock housing buy my EWP don't have a thermostat. Not sure if they are supposed to come with one or not. lol: thanks for the reply though.
BTW, sad to see you selling your car. I'm sure someone will buy it. It's a beautiful machine.

I took a standard sbc 160 stat drilled 2 small holes in it...
must work cause my vette runs 180 tops with this set up
I thought about the holes in the thermostat too since it can't be good to have no or very little flow until the thermostat opens.
Why not? The pump isn't going to burn up. Once it opens cool water gets into the engine and helps cool it but not so much that it causes any problems. Unless you have a weird thermostat, it's going to have a weeping hole already in it for filling the system back up with coolant. I don't see the point in making more holes unless someone has proof that the engineers are wrong.
