He went to a rental, they are much more forgiving on the rules but it's still amazing they allow a vert that fast lol.

Best run of the day

Maybe Paul will chime in & tell us what happened
8* timing, blower belt broke at 330', let out at 1000', transmission slipping, street tune, 86 octane, no meth, coupler blew off, spark plug wire fell off, 4200#s, street tire, no track prep, brakes were dragging, 47mph headwind gusting to 123mph, 52% tps and he forgot to take a dump before the run.

Has anyone actually seen its run the 1.28 60ft? I mean....that's a SERIOUS 60 time, let alone for a stock suspension vette.

Also, how the f' is that thing allowed on the track without a cage? Where the F' do you people run, and do you all have a death wish or just most?

After Paul had some "technical difficulties" making it down the track, I jumped in the car and cut the 1.28, so yes it happened. With a different driver the car could go 8's IMHO, but jumping the gun with a license plate is kind of big no-no.
But as Mike said, who cares?

-transmission never shifted under WOT so could not do much with that

-my driving was excellent felt comfortable in the car and not going into REP
-
stuck in the rev limiter in first gear is not fun

-But I did manage to jus make an easy part throttle pass to 147 to feel the killer power..105 to 147 is crazy top end speed just driving normal

-working on fixing it so it shifts and back again next Friday

-nothing is broke car is still perfect engine tune was spot on and was a great day

---I had fun and thanks to empire muscle cars for the invite
