Glad you got it up and running mate
Was about to ask what t/ body you have at present, answered lol
Should pick up a bit with the ls2 Tb , fwiw I got 533 rwhp / 490 tq on a 01 ls6 . 7lbs boost all stock except for full exhaust . So forgetting ls6 comp ratio if you need a bit more keep your eyes out for some ls6 heads and a cam , or like you say few more lbs of boost .
Cheers mate

Got a good deal on a second hand Kenne Bell Kit finally got my 98 on the dyno. LTs and catless exhaust. Only ran 7#s and it made 450hp/470tq on a conservative tune. IATs never reached over 140° I'm pretty happy with the results.

Glad to see you got it installed and running. It would still be in a box in my basement. My car is still sitting on jack stands as we left it for the hood swap. I hope the adventure of installing a used kit wasn't too difficult. Enjoy!

welcome to the PD club!
it's real addictive - just don't get carried away the common consensus on the KB kits is that as long as you don't get crazy on the boost, you'll be fine. that said, you can still up your power by making the engine more efficient (intake, heads, cam, exhaust).
aww... who'm i kidding?! carry yourself away! these cars are so fun & the constant, predictable torque is amazing!

If your car is a 6 speed, start saving for a clutch! Then tires....
I have a KB also,I'm up to a little over 600rwhp,I started at about 470 also,then did a cam,then a bigger cam,tpis headers,now kooks 1 7/8 headers now,added meth....it doesn't stop..I have probably 50,000 miles on my blower now,still running strong,need to install another clutch in it now..

To do a clutch on KB setup, do you have to pull the blower? Looks like even less clearance at the firewall than stock so titling the drivetrain to get the diff/tranny/tt out would seem to be a no-no with the KB unit mounted.
