I feel like a dumbass after watching that video. Blows my mind with what can be done. Think if more people put efforts into stuff like that instead of wasting efforts on apps, social media, and keeping up with celebrities....

I love giving you a hard time Brett, but I have to hang my hat up to you! This is going to kill me to say but, Your true ambition, critical thinking abilities, and love for the game really shows true on what you do to your car and your customers. The original and custom things you do are absolute stellar in my book!
Outstanding Brother, Cheers to you!

Daily devotion. 😃
My friend, Taylor Sims @ Dallas Performance was kind enough to share one of his favorite shop toys with me. I've been thinking about it ever since. If you don't cut stainless true, you spend far too much time truing it up with the risk of work hardening it and then it's "game over". If you don't have perfect cuts then the weld joints look like crap.
Truck showed up a day early with it. It should be the last bandsaw I'll ever have to buy. I can't wait to start cutting with it.

Busy weekend. Sorry for not keeping up.
I'm in the middle of working on this C6Z. Had to rebuild the charge pipe for SD and add an IAT bung. Then off to powdercoat. This is the first time I used the saw and it cuts perfectly with almost no cleanup needed before welding.
I've always wanted to cut up a LS head and see how thick things were and such. This made quick business of it.
I made the second cut at an angle. You can see how sharp and clean the edge is.

Now that is badass
(both the fact that it cut it that easily and what the cross section actually looks like)

Such a crazy schedule, it's often difficult to find time to update this, but I promise, I'll update this to the end.
Took my block to HSquared Racing Engines for all my updates. I'm lucky they have the fixture to properly open my lifter bores properly. I chose to go with a larger, .937 DLC coated Jesel lifter along with their matching bushings.
