Man that's don't sound good. What happened did it starve for oil or belt too tight or over spin. Could just be a bad batch of China bearings. Good luck I hope all goes well

Contact your distributor so they can get you an RA# and send it in.

Sorry to see & hear that. Hopefully they'll provide you with decent support. What balancer and S/C pulley sizes were you running?

Seriously? If we don't run what you have, then we have junk? Come on.

Well, we'll run my YSI against your 2200R soon enough

Paul, I have bit my lip for a long time now but seriously STFU. No one asked you. Dave, its a 8"/2.85" combo. Called Vortech and no warranty. Looks like I'm out $750 for new bearings unless the guy I bought it from decides to go half.

EDIT: Looks like they are going to work with me.

I just saw it is being taken care of, but whoever you bought it threw should be "lobbying" behind you to get this corrected. It's part of the sale IMHO.

@ the STFU comment.

On another note, I was going to tell you that you could certainly open the case up yourself and put bearings in it. I think there are places that offer replacement bearings; but it looks like they are taking care of you.
