Default HOLLEY Dominator required parts list.

I just got a quote...a hefty one at that, for the Holley Dominator setup for my TT C5. If I went this route...I'd like to go boost by gear as well. Since I have never installed one, I am curious what you guys have purchased for YOUR C5's. I have all the part numbers I THINK I need, which is:

2)HLY-554-102 pressure transducer(switch)

1)HLY-554-114 EFI VMS(dominator itself)

4)HLY-557-200 boost control solenoids

1)HLY-558-102 efi main harness

1)HLY-558201 injector harness

1)HLY-558-308 main power harness

1)HLY-558-406 drive by wire harness

1)RPK-220-VM-GPS racepak data module

1)RPK-250-DS-IQ3LD

I realize that the last two are more optional, since guys have run factory clusters in C5's with dominators. Curious though if you used a harness for that or wired in your own setup....if so...do your blinkers and everything work...etc. Can you guys that have the system, confirm I am on the right path? Also wouldn't mind installing a flex fuel sensor setup in the vehicle to get rid of having to solely only use E85.

TT-C5-E85-boost by gear....

Thanks!

Jamie

A buddy of mine reminded me of this. But how would someone get thru emissions if you've gone to a dominator setup?

Do you not have emissions testing?

I've wired a few in older LS swapped cars didn't mess with boost by gear though, you think of it and you can virtually do it.

Good to know. Based on looks/layout alone I really don't like the holley screen as a primary layout.

So no "members" here with a Holley setup they'd like to share information about with the community.

Check.

Seems like highpockets was working towards what you are talking about. He may could point you in the right direction.

Have you come up with a total price for everything you listed above? How does it compare to going with ProEfi?

Thank you sir, price I was given is basically 4700.00 with a race pack data logger dash. Which..to me...is Fing expensive. I think the PROefi I got for the C6 car a while back was cheaper. To be honest, I only asked one person for a quote...I can actually get Holley stuff near cost. I haven't looked to see if I am getting a "deal" or not. Seems very pricey to me.

just checked...we paid about 3500 for the pro efi with flex fuel/boost controlled setup...all the boost *****...NO SCREEN of any kind...so it seems like the holley is a hair cheaper...

Both expensive I guess.

I know alot of corvette guys, and import guys run the setup. I hear good things from Corvette guys....but when I talk to tuners several tell me they do not like it.... I have no personal experience with any of them other than a ProEfi setup I'll install on a C6 soon but still....I'm a newb when it comes to aftermarket efi on these. I am positive they will all work though, thats for sure...I think just different tuners, like what they're used to.

I am running the Holley EFI Dominator and Racepack systems in my Pikes Peak car. I'll see if I can grab the part # from the invoice. But the tech guys there are very knowledgeable. Just be prepared to sit on hold or wait for a return call. They are BUSY!

It would be nice if someone who has installed one of these would do a write up on how they did it without pissing the car off. I know a few people myself that would be very interested in doing this if there wasn't so much mystery too it.

That's exactly what I was hoping for when starting this post.

+it looks like a great system and they have added a faster processor, drive by wire support, and boost by gear or speed

I have a Haltech S2000 and honestly would love to upgrade

I haven't installed it yet and I'm shopping for support in the NOVA area

like to hear from experienced installers

I have the TTIx system and would be interested in upgrading the engine at the same time

I just bought a little l33 block I'm going to stroke to a forged 4.0 and stay with a 3.82 bore size so the little block will hopefully hold up.

i plan on a domimator in my blown C5Z as well since I can get a stupid good deal on it. Here's what I came up with. I even downloaded the software and started building myself a starter tune. :-). It's pretty user friendly.

Dominator EFI ECU PN 554-114

NTK Wideband O2 Sensor PN 554-100 x 2

LS1 Main Harness PN 558-102

LSx Injector harness - For EV6 Style Injectors PN 558-201

Main Power Harness PN 558-308

Dominator EFI GM Drive-By-Wire Harness PN 558-406

We just got a laptop for tuning only..loading up a few different software types. I looked last night for Holley software but didn't find it anywhere. Where to look?
