It would tighten things up quite a bit but it may be possible. I have the cooler flush with the back of the crash bar with a slight angle towards the bumper and it sticks out 1.5" in front of the crash bar. Another 1.5" would have to go behind the crash bar or you may contact the bumper. That would leave you roughly 7" between a turbo of these dimensions and the back of the cooler. Not a ton of space for the rad and fans but do able.

Fewmore small updates just to keep things moving. Stock TT, trans, diff and cradle are out. I removed the stock bellhousing and installed the quicktime and replaced the TT couplers. I have the first draft of the rad cradle done but I have to revise to fit the fan shroud. Merge collector has begun fab, moved a bunch of stuff around and ordered a new MM catch can and vented motion raceworks valve covers. Also started the process to remove abs but the block will be staying put until I get all the fittings and lines necessary to install a prop valve.
Merge collector going over cradle, understeering rack.
Straight on view
Motion raceworks valvecover and MM catch can
One billet coupler
Quicktime bellhousing, already trimmed by previous owner
One poly coupler
Mess of unused wire and clips. Fusebox was pulled out and wires were depinned from clips under fusebox or trimmed, folded and sealed with adhesive heatshrink.

Thanks, I figure I might as well keep it going for my records anyway.
If any happens to have a picture of their VSS plug I would really appreciate it. I may or may not have forgotten to unplug it before pulling the diff and the wire came out all the way out of the sockets and I just need to know which wire goes where so I can repin the thing.

Finally made some more progress. Got both crossover pipes done, still need to figure out wastegate placement. Turbo side charge pipe is 90% done and I should finish most of everything this week. Everything needs finish welds but my second reg took a crap so that will wait.

this build has been coming along beautifully. work is top notch sir. if someone made a jig just to repop the hot parts they could make a fortune. those tight bends are a pain and tedious but you've got it down. and with good clearance all around. interested to see how you run the DP now. good luck buttoning the rest up

The "Up"pipe will be going out the hood where my old turbo was peaking through the hood. Once I get a new hood I will be figuring out a way to run it all the way out the back.

yea I saw the rest of the fab, to be honest I think those mods were minor in comparison to the fab work required for those crossovers. and now I'm definitely interested to see the exhaust finished just for those fire shots!

Small update for now. I bought Patches RSI dual pump hanger and ditched the external pump setup, I was never a fan of having the pump and all the lines stuffed up in the wheel well. Unfortunately, the RSI hat had a 3.75" spacing as opposed to the 3.5" spacing on my tank so I have ordered a 2002 Z06 drivers tank to stuff it in. Hopefully dropping the tank isn't to terrible of a job. I received a caspers dual pump harness with it and modified it so one pump activates from a hobbs switch at 2-3 psi and the other runs full time.
I also finally got a new dual flow regulator for my welder so I can backpurge my welds and finish the crossovers up

Got most of the major fab work done. Still have to cut the hood and then mark and cut the tip for the downpipe. Wastegates are on, still have to make the dumps. Ended up buying some aluminum c channel and 1.25” aluminum pipe and im going to redo the whole radiator support. All thats really left is the rad hoses(will be hard pipe with couplers), 3 spark plug wires, the intake and a few hoses.

Been busy with my new daily, 2008 STI, but I did get the fuel tanks in, all plumbing is done, both pumps are wired and I made an extension to the stock fuel line shield to cover all my fittings.
Ugly but functional
