My greatest hope that after the long, arduous wait, the car owner agrees that it was all worth it in the end.

If I had my way, it would've been done in 30 minutes and done perfectly. I'm not only the shop owner, but also work a full time day job. I hope that once you see what I've done here that it'll make more sense why it's taken so long. With the exception of the roof and rockers, the car was stripped down completely and completely redone. Wiring, paint, drivetrain and a ton of one-off custom components. Some of what we've done I've never done or seen anyone else do before.

I can relate to a small degree what it takes to do the custom, one off, build like you are doing and have done in the past. The thought process with planning a whole build that isn't bolt on parts and getting everything to work together is an impressive feat for a shop full of people. Most have no idea what is truly involve in a build like this and with you basically being a one man show only after hours, my hats off to you.
When are you going to quit your day job hire some full time employees and get the shop really going...

Bret, you're a workaholic (in the good way)

I did hire a few full time employees. I've gone through quite a few trying to find some talented help. I've got 1 full time tech now and 1 full time helper and that's all I'm going to retain for now.
Here's a few pics of the shop in its early stages since we're talking about it.

Sub'd. Can't wait to see this car done, just read the whole thread and was really hoping to see it done on this last page haha.
The amount of work and dedication is insane, I applaud you both (and everyone else involved in this project)

Ha! Thanks for the kind words. Quitting the day job has been on my mind numerous times but my day job offers things like a good amount of vacation time, disability pay, a pension, great medical coverage for me and my family. After both my wife and I have struggled with cancer in the past, I can't imagine what good medical coverage would run, not to mention the rest of the bennies. I've got to do what's best for us all, so I'll stay here a few more years until my pension peaks out.

Didn't know you were hiring, I would have put in an application. Are you flexible on the "talented" part of the job description. I've been called lots of thing but talented is a stretch for me.
Lets see some progress pics of the build!

I keep meaning to throw a lol something in here for you guys. I finally got a minute to do it. We decided to save space by combining the catch can responsibility with the dry sump tank. I cut off one of the 12AN fittings and replaced it with a 10. Then I added another one right next to it.
