Default Anyone going to the half mile event this weekend in sulfur springs TX?

Just checking to see if anyone is going or participating in the half mile event in sulfur springs. I plan for on being there with a group that's helping to sponsor the event and maybe get to meet some of you guy's in person.

I'm signed up for Sunday, but it will depend on me finishing the car sometime this week. It still needs the complete driveline and rear suspension installed plus an intake swap and meth kit re-routed. Also not sure if there will be any issues with the ABS module after disconnecting two of the brake lines. I hope to just bleed the brakes and not have to hunt down a Tech II tool.

What car are you bringing?

I'm not bringing mine this go around, but we'll have a NA ZO6 carbon edition, modded ZL1, ZR1, and a couple of other ZO6's in the group so far that I know of.

I'm same boat as Ben. signed up, but desperately trying to finish up a few changes before the end of the week. Thought I had plenty of time, but just snuck up on me. FInishing 8.50 cage install and need to hook up new boost controller. Interior starts going back in tomorrow.

Good luck you guys, by the time I got around to signing up only Sunday was left. Too far for me to drive for a single day.
Funny how time slips away trying to finish mods for an event. Been behind a few times an event was a weekend away and it sucks...

Hopefully you all get the chance to make it. If so come over and visit with us, would like to meet some of you guy's in person. I'm going to be with the folks from Aikman Performance. We're going to be wrenching and swapping out stuff on one of the vette's to see how it performs with different combos so if you need something just come by, be happy to help out.

C5 record broke, 190mph
C6 record broke- 205 mph
C5 NA record broke, 186mph.

I have my work cut out for me in January since most of those cars will probably be at that event.
