Default Forced To Rethink My Fuel System

So after doing a lot of math and consulting with some experts, I have come to the conclusion that I am not going to get to my goal of 1100rwhp on e85 with just 2x walbro 450s. Given that I can't fit 3 pumps in the tank, I am thinking of going to a single walbro 450 in tank and a single external on a boost reference switch.

Now, my issue is I am not certain which external to use. Ideally I want an external that can be mounted like 3" or so higher than the pickup. I don't know of any that can be. We all know you really can't get an external pump below the bottom of the fuel tank in a C5....any suggestions?

I know externals are loud as **** and this is a daily driver, but I figure if I am building enough boost to need it, I won't hear it over the turbos or exhaust anyway haha.

Bret can get triple 450's in the tank so you might ask him before you abandon that idea... he's working on a tank for me right now, I'm just going to do twin 450's for the time being since I'm not planning for much more power than I'm already making but he's going to make it easy to upgrade to triples if I ever need to... I ran an a1000 externally and it worked great for me but that will be coming off when I do the twin 450 setup... the a1000 is loud on it's own but I could never hear it kick on in my car... magnafuel makes a good pump if you have the space for it... here's a pic of how I had the a1000 mounted on my car

you may be able to fit them on the 03L+ tanks, but I don't see how you could do it on a 73 - 03E tank. they sure won't fit in side by side.

I run a magnafuel. I've never once heard it ever, under wot you will never hear an external kick on.

Are the magnafuel pumps e85 compatible?

I have Bret's setup in my car. I am running the dual 450's and still have a racetronix upgrade pump in the factory location (3 pumps in tank). Bret has mentioned he can do 3 and I thought maybe 4 450s. My car is a 01z

I don't really like the idea of 3+ pumps...too much room for issues IMO. I am thinking a single walbro 450 in-tank for normal driving then a Magnafuel 4303 when the boost comes in. I need to call Magnafuel and find out just how far above the pick up I can mount the pump before I start having issues....it isn't exactly easy to get the pump below the pickup in our cars lol.
