Default Finally built my own car! lots of attention to detail here

well after a long time of gathering parts and saving up it was finally time to turn my own car into a half mile monster (hopefully) I didn't take a picture of everything but this is the breakdown of it all.

LSA block with custom wiseco pistons **coated skirts, upgraded pins, vertical gas ported, tool steel rings 11:2 compression**
LS9 Rods w/ ARP 2000 rod bolts
LS9 crank w/ arp mains held down with new age 625 head studs
Advanced induction ported LS9 heads
LS3 intake manifold
LS2 throttle body
Mechman billet alternator
Kooks 2'' longtubes, 3'' off road mid, b&b fusion 3'' axle back
ECS 10 rib kit with novi 2200R 2.75 one off griptec pulley with 10% overdriven lower **revving to 7500** should be 23-24 psi
A&A flip drive
ECS big intercooler w/ dual bypass valves
Wastegate setup with boost by gear
Fore innovations triple walbro 450 fuel pump setup with FIC 1650CC injectors on E98 fuel
Viking drag coil overs front and rear
LG drag rear control amrs
LG drag rear sway bar
LG drag spindles
RPM level 7 tr6060 w/ ZR1 5/6th
RPM level 6 diff 3.42 rear gears
RPS triple clutch
Driveshaft shop torque tube w/ coupler delete
Driveshaft shop level 5 axles
All new suspension parts everywhere, all new accessories as it all had 107k on it
Dewitts cut down radiator w/ 17'' brushless fan
weld S77 18x6 fronts and 15x12 rears (beadlocked)
C7 shifter
Hoosier diff mount
DTE trans/diff brace
ABS delete, evap delete, lots of misc non needed stuff deleted, still has ac and powersteering though!
Painted engine bay
carlyle racing lugs
possibly doing a drag wing and chute too

I'm sure there is so much i'm forgetting but that's the bulk of it.

Video is headers w/ open x pipe as axle back wasn't on yet.

awesome, I've been looking to get the viking coilovers soon also. Curious if you guys log any alternator drop with the mechman at 1/2 mile or on dyno too.

That's a good looking engine bay. How did you get everything looking so new?

forgot to post my dyno video. Car will be going back on with a meth kit as I was close to maxing out the injectors and iat's were a little higher than I want, timing is still semi low so power will go up some from here. But still 1048 rwhp 915 rwtq. This thing with the compression makes a tad over 700 rwtq by 4k rpms!! Absolute blast to drive and really drives like a nice bolt on w/ a small cam car. With the meth kit thinking it'll land around 1130-1150 rwhp.

with that much power you might consider going direct port with the alchy

on Mr Le's F1X car he was putting down over 1200 and found the alchy was "carrying to the back" of the manifold and running the back cyl a bit too rich and the front a bit too lean (EGT monitoring on all 8)

the egt variance was over 200 deg which showed poor distribution which makes sense as the intake is designed for dry flow

after going direct port, the car picked up and ran much smoother and the variation dropped down to less the 50 deg difference

you could then "tune the pills" a bit to even that out if needed based on airflow variations in the manifold.

I'm going to give it a try on my next build but may use another set of injectors and staged fueling rather than just nozzles so I can get help from the wide band tuning and EGTs

ECS makes a nice setup, not sure of the cost, but at those HP levels I think it would help.

boost a muv!!!

WOW, Very cool build, and GREAT power!!

I'm also running one of your one off custom pulleys, works pretty darn good...
