Default magnuson mp112 how much boost?

I just finally put my 2004 Z06 on the dyno and did some tuning and was pretty disappointed in the numbers as well as the boost. My setup is essentially a stock LS6 with LS9 cam and upgraded valve springs. The magnuson mp112 was bought used and has the 1:1 rear drive as well as a 3.1 drive pulley, crank pulley is stock sized ATI damper. Also running the ECS tensioner and from what I can tell there is no belt slip. I'm only making 5.6 lbs of boost which is resulting in 464 RWHP. I was expecting to see more like 8 to 10 lbs. Am I out to lunch here? I was thinking perhaps the internal bypass isn't adjusted correctly or damaged and is still allowing some boost to bypass? Any thoughts? Suggestions?

I am running mp112 with 8psi pulley and exhaust, and I am only making 464rwhp. See my post from a couple days ago. We need to race to see!

I bought my car from Vancouver Canada last october, had it shipped to vegas. It was tuned and dynod by ton Wong in Vancouver washington. I have friends that live in Vancouver washington I may drive up in august! What size mp112 from pulley do you have? 3.1 or 2.9?

3.1 pulley and 1:1 drive on the rear, if you come up let me know we can go for a rip.

I am also running a stock sized balancer, ECS, 1:1 rear pulleys on MP112. I am also running the 3.1 front. The dyno sheet included with my car shows a tad under 8psi. I have a boost gauge that shows about 7 3/4psi. I will hook my scan tool to it when I get a chance and tell you what the exact PSI I am getting. Looks like you should be getting more boost, since we have the same setup.

I figured out my boost problem, I purchased this supercharger second hand and the previous owner had replaced the bypass valve vacuume actuator with the incorrect part so the bypass valve was never fully closing. New bypass valve is on order then dyno tune

Been a few years since I posted here. I have a Maggie on my LS6 and get around 8 lbs boost and 567/567. Am redoing the alky control so I will have it on the rollers soon and see if I lost anything to age.

Glad you posted here as well, I had kind of forgotten about this thread. Very curious about updates on any cars running the mags kits.

mine made 6psi with a cam, and it now makes 8 psi with a IW crank.
