Default E65 - E85 (on pump nozzle) - how to tune for it ???

ive thought about e85 on a mild boost p1-sc 550 rwhp car, with meth/ water inj.

currently have 60 lb/hr inj and 2 fuel pumps. not sure if inj Are bigger enough but im confident my fuel pump and lines are for e85 (i have the earlier style with return fuel line):

so now the curveball is my local gas station (sheetz - kent, ohio) has a pump nozzle that says something like e65 - e85 .....Wtf.

how do i tune for an unknown quantity of ethanol :toetap

any pointers?

my goal is more safe detonation free HP (likely achieved by adding in some more timing up top ). i hope to achieve this without setting off my knock sensors

You have a wideband? Assuming you have a wide band just tune it on the gas scale so normally you want to tune for 11 5 to 11 eight air fuel.

If you have 93 octane in the car right now and put e85 You should notice that your Afr gets leaner everywhere

ok, so tune it rich for pump gas, and it will be lean/mean for e65-e85 (like 12.5:1 - which is still safe ???)

ive heard people say you need to increase spark advance up top (above 4000 rpm) to take advantage of e85 (err e65-e85.......:angrytoetap) for more hp .....

so i still envision a different tune for pump gas vs e65-85

I use one of these to test prior to filling up.

No, none of that. Use your wide band and just tune it for the AFR you want 11:5-11:8 ARF for FI setups. Yes, e85 can take more spark advance without detonation and make more power. I dyno tune many cars and see it all the time. Every set up is different and every engine likes different spark advance
