Default What Tire Combo. Would You Choose

Please let me know what you think about the following options I am considering for tires:

2002 Z06
4.10 gears
611rwhp/532rwtq
3000 miles a year, street only, will never track
Value traction in straight line more than cornering
Stock Z06 wheel sizes

1. Rear: M/T ET Street S/S 305/40/18 & Front: Nitto NT05 275/40/17

2. Rear: Toyo R888 305/35/18 & Front: Toyo R888 275/40/17

3. Rear: Nitto NT05R 315/40/18 & Front: Nitto NT05 275/40/17

4. Rear: Toyo Proxes TQ 315/35/18 & Front Nitto NT05 275/40/17

5. Rear: M/T ET Street S/S 305/35/18 & Front: Nitto NT05 275/40/17

Open to other front tires if someone suggest something else.

As sticky as you can get with 4.10's and an MN12 tranny. MT's.

Sticky and TALL to help shed some of that gearing.

If you drag race, then I say #1 and #5. I have Nitto NT05 for the rear (stock size rim and tire though) I did try my friends' MTs and NTO5R. The MTs felt better at the launch. The Nittos would be better up front for guides. I did not get times due to it being a no show weekend. But on all motor with mine own NTO5 I ran 12.4 (which I ran the weekend before), I'd get a better 60ft time with the MTs or Hoosier though and better times

I would say 15's in the back. Best mod I've done, but if your never going to track it. put a 17 in the back and get an ET street. Nittos are too hard.

I have a 10.5" wheel and the 305/40/18's hit the brake duct and wheels cannot be installed. Can I remove the brake ducts? Other ideas?

Yes. Or just raise the bolts in the rear a bit.

Found this post from middle of last year. Would you say thee would be much difference in running a 17" on the rear vs 18". Running supercharger with 3.42 rear and probably about 3000 stall on an A4. Those are my only choices for my week end warrior that will be 90% street with a few 1/8 runs on drag radials. Not going to 15's for stealth. Have access to stock 17's or 18"s for rear and don't know if that 1" will make a difference. Thanks
