Oil Coming Out Of BOV: Crankcase venting...need help

you may find room forward of the radiator under your shield as well.
custom engine bays like this often require the owners creativity for successful install. I cannot plan for every possible situation in one kit.
the re-circulation top only requirement is that the discharge hose is at least as large as the inlet hose, to not cause alteration of the airflow capability. the hose end, hose length, and where the hose goes you get to decide. usually somewhere outside of the heat of the engine bay and contact patch of the tires, sometimes to the main air filter, sometimes to the overflow tank.
this is most likely not needed unless you are very specific about engine bay scents, or do extended session road racing, but is never a bad idea.

Thanks Dave...yeah I like the idea of the routing the hose down to the airbox...cleaner and no chance for any fumes or oil spray to be in the engine bay area. So would you just put the end of the hose into the airbox like Iam currently doing or put a filter on the end of the hose like I see on the top of the catch cans?
Also...is there enough clearance with putting the oil fill adapter and the hose fitting on top of that to the hood liner? Looks awfully high up from pictures I have seen? Like it would be hitting the stock hood of a C5? or do you make a hose adapter that comes off horizontally and not vertically from the oil fill adapter? Looks like you do as one picture the hose looks like it is coming off sideways and in the other...looks like off the top?

I have a -12 oil fill adapter and a -12 90* swivel fitting and my hood closes just fine.

And do you remove the PCV valve completely on a boosted car? Run the hose straight from the intake to the can?

I don't have any good pics and my car is in the shop getting a roll cage welded in. My can has a check valve on the outlet fitting so it acts as the original PCV system did. So the line goes from my oil fill adapter to the catch can, check valve fitting to the manifold.

the can fitting hose ends are here in many angles, almost always a 90* is used out the recirc top

if you are running a pcv system you would never for any reason remove the pcv valve built into my 'PCV' can. a pcv point of regulation must be in use for any PCV system.
additionally if you have my PCV can you do not need to use any additional check valves in-line of it to help with boost. this function is built in, and tested over 100psi.

On my 2002 Boosted LS1:
1.) So with the Wild Can, I remove my cars PCV valve and my cars check valve? Am I hearing that correctly?? I don't remember hearing that before?
2.) Line 1: Adapter the oil cap and run that to the in-port (bigger fitting port) on catch can.
3.) Line 2: Line from intake manifold to out-port (smaller port) on catch can.
4.) Cap off both ends on passenger side valve cover.
5.) Line from port on driver side valve cover to air filter
This the proper way Dave?

the 'WILD' complete systems for these cars use the PCV can build.
yes to all of your questions which are and will be covered in these instructions when you rec. paper copy with the kit

I build 3 main can configurations, RACE, DRAFT, PCV
https://www.mightymousesolutions.com/catch-cans
the DRAFT cans come within most MILD complete systems and the PCV can is used in most WILD systems.

if you want to be in charge of your own build, and are not necessarily trying for a functional pcv system, the RACE can and all other individual 'kit builder' parts are available here

Where is the supercharger "inlet"? Looking at the diagram says the drivers side hose needs to be connected to supercharger inlet? I have a self contained A&A v3si. I don't see any inlet.

That would be the intake pipe connected to the blower.

most of the s/c kits already have a port like this in place.

Hey Turpid (or anyone really) did you remove the PCV lines running from the drivers side valve cover over to the passenger side top port valve cover and then the other line going to the PCV valve? This line on my 2002 is custom formed plastic (stock GM) that splits up close to the firewall between the intake manifold. Daves diagram shows this having to come out, cap off the passenger side valve cover and a hose run from the drivers side valve cover all the way down to my airbox. See picture.

Yes, I removed the entire factory system, capped the extra ports and followed David's diagram.

It's been awhile but I remember it being fairly easy as I wasnt planning to reuse it so I pulled it out pretty rough. Im hoping to make 4 digits on this build, running 12AN to the catch can with 1/2" rubber hose for the valve cover barbs but Im switching to valve covers with AN fittings welded on so I can run one large hose from each side.

OK cool. Nice ride! By any chance did you remove the oil filler neck from your passenger side valve cover? I have to and my understanding is that you have to remove the valve cover in order to release the tabs to remove it? That sound right?

I just gripped mine with pliers and twisted. It came out pretty quick that way.
