Default Sfi Quick time bellhousing Auto or manual ???On a manual car...

New engine will be here this week(see sig) and for my own safety i wanna install a QT SFI bellhousing. After doing a lot of research in the archive i found this thread:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ds-needed.html

Member SMOOVE put a manual bellhousing in his manual car and trim the bottom excess material to prevent scraping.
Im lowered so of course ill also cut the excess if i need to but some members suggest the use of an Auto QT bellhousing since it seems smaller in shape...

So what his the concensus on this, does the Auto bellhousing fit a manual car ???

I just put a quick time on my auto (converted) Z06. I have nothing to add here other than bolt it up to the engine before putting it in the car. Its a PITA after its in the car.

I think the clutch would determine if it would fit or not. If its a triple disk, it probably wouldnt fit in the bellhousing.

My buddy has a manual trans QT bell. He had to trim a bit due to the headers hitting it.

It's a really nice piece. I have the auto version in my car.

Jamie(Smoothe) and I both used the manual sfi housings and trimmed them. Ive passed nhra, ecta, ihra, and many other tech inspections withno issues.
