Need Help With TPS Switch !
I'm using blue wire from cars throttle position sensor on passenger side. I have it soldered. With key on and throttle depressed I'm getting nothing from the blue wire using a 12v test light. Is is low voltage? Car starts and runs fine, but I can't seem to get anything from blue wire with car off. Do I have the right one ? any suggestions ?

I appreciate the responses. I wasn't clear as to how the throttle body worked without the car running. I took the off the bridge connector and operated the throttle butterfly by hand and got the voltage reading I was looking for. From past posts, no one said to do this. The posts just said turn the key on and depress the throttle. I didn't realize that meant literally open the throttle by hand. I know we have a drive by wire throttle, but thought the throttle would would work with just the key on. Anyway the TPS switch is hooked up now and works. If it craps out on me, I'll go to the WOT switch that came with the kit. Thanks for the help.
