Default Rebuilding motor opinions

I have what I belive to be a stock bottom end ls1 with the following
Ported 241 heads by MTI.
MTI x1 cam. (I think)
Ported stock throttle body.
Kooks longtubes
V3 Ti trim
2.4" pulley, made 10psi
Devils own meth, 100% meth

Made 648hp and 625 toque to the wheels, they limited the rpms to 5800 and didn't put any timing to it to try to keep from blowing the motor up.

2k miles later I have a lifter or a rod knock and am just gonna forge/build the motor.

I'm thinking a 383 stroker kit
10:1 - 10.5:1 compression
8 rib upgrade 10% OD balancer with a 3.47 pulley. 54k rpms @ 6500
Mantic 9000 clutch
Maybe a fast intake

Moral of the story, I'm trying to make some more power and not lose all my torque so I'm afraid to change to many parts since my torque and hp were so close together. Trying not to put new heads on it either. In all reality I'd love to make it to 800 but don't think I will be able to without big money.

Opinions?

You can just put rods and pistons in it and turn up the boost some and make 800, but the 383 will make more TQ. The HP will not change to much from what I've seen.

You didn't mention your current fuel system.

There really isn't much needed to make 800rw.

Stock longblock with a cam and twin turbo kit here:

It's got twin walbro 342's in the tank. Should be good to around 900

I'm Probably only going to be able to get 1 or 2 more psi out of the current blower, I'm trying not to overspin the blower since it's the self contained unit that can't handle overspin. I'd really need to upgrade to the ysi for more boost.
