A&A supercharger V3
Hi, just got an A&A supercharger kit and would appreciate any tips, advice anything that can help me install this kit on my 1999 C5 LS1 Manuel

Replace your balancer if it is a stock unit. Now is a good time to replace water pump and do any cam upgrades. Blow out your radiator and condenser. Add alky meth system, it will prolong life of engine if tune is not spot on.

To get a better and stronger setup when i did my first A&A build i put an Ecs fixed idler kit .No need to replace the alt bracket and it replace the plastic idler with a steel one.Stronger and 3 way adjustable.
On low boost base Whp setup meth is not needed.

Even for the price of the alt bracket abt $100 its not worth it to change?
im hoping to make 500 whp at 8 psi
think its possible with everything pretty much stock, have b&b shorties, stock h pipe, b&b exhaust, centrrforce dual clutch, b&m short shifter?

99 auto with headers, fast 90 LS2 TB, stock everything else I put down 520 HP. It was about 10 #'s with 3.6 pulley. Less than 15K later, new motor. Meth cools and raises the octane when in boost. It will clean off carbon deposits. Its a safety net and will increase longevity of your motor. I would not do it again without it. I'm not sure what new motor puts out but its a lot more than the original one. It would have been cheaper to add meth then to replace motor. My experience and opinion. Learn from mine or your own, its up to you.
