Default Center air dam with ECS kit

Does anyone have pictures of how they installed the center air dam onto the ECS cradle that comes with the kit? The directions are no help, pictures would be best. I was under the car and don't see how it would mount.

Pictures of the air dam are on page 7

There are pictures of it being mounted in the instructions I just linked. I can take pictures of mine when I get home. Basically you just cut it down so it is 4" wide and the you center it on the radiator cradle, drill and screw.

Thanks, I already cut it down but now I just noticed it appears to also be cut around the intercooler mount as well. That could be my missing piece as it does't sit flush or even close enough to drill/screw in. If you wouldn't mind posting pictures of your own car I would appreciate it!

I went into the garage and looked at the air dam. What did you do about the metal on the back when you clearance it for the intercooler mounts?

EDIT: The pictures in the instructions contradict one another, first picture shows cutting 4" off the top, second shows air dam with 4" that should have been cut off...

Also do you use the stock bolt holes (spring system) ? This could be my issue if not

Showing where to cut to clear intercooler mount, with metal support in the way.

Cut shroud so far

just stick the plastic air dam up to the front of the radiator cradle and mark where the holes are then drill them out and put nutserts in the cradle that way you have a way to bolt it down... you won't use any of the springs or anything from the oem setup
