I 3d printed a new spacer to get an idea of how much to machine off the spacers that were provided. This will allow the use of the short injectors and drop the rails low enough to miss the firewall.

I went to a car show after church on Sunday and started working on completion of the charge pipe.

I tacked everything up on Friday and then went to Jon's shop for a welding party on Saturday.

The charge pipe would have been 100% complete but a friend had a leftover Vibrant HD clamp assembly that was just begging to be used so I starting cutting it in on Sunday before church.

I love my vibrant HD clamp, I have it on the same spot. Now that I am going 92mm TB I was wondering how the 4" flange would fit on there.

Good to know. It fits perfectly on this LS2 throttle body.

Awesome, because I just ordered my LS2 throttle body and manifold last night. Now I don't need to repin or make an adapter harness for my pretty Haltech terminated Gen IV harness.

mine has turned into spending money on the business. As much as I avoid actually racing my own car because it’s expensive, I realized I’m going to have to. Inevedibly there comes a point where the car becomes part of the business. The plan is to gut it and put a big single turbo on it. Turn it into a race car. Haven’t decided which but the plan is to pick a record and break it

The work this weekend consisted of mocking up and cutting the motor plate for the passenger side. It will be fairly easy to work it out except for the A/C compressor. I'm still 50/50 on whether or not to fit it in there.

I also spent some time on the turbo drain line for the driver side. It took longer than planned but I think this will be the solution. The line will need to be removed one last time in order to slightly enlarge the openings in the frame.

Thanks, I'm really looking forward to driving it again. I have to keep talking myself out of doing other things to it while it's down.

Thanks, Jeff. I'm trying to keep it going. It will probably be done just in time for summer, lol.

I made a trip to JDS99's shop for more welding thanks to the new Plazmaman 4" clamp. This one should be rated to 60psi?

Do you ever wish you could clone yourself a few times and get triple the work done?

I was able to get the ECU mount fabbed up this weekend. It consists of some 1/8" aluminum plate bolted to the frame. I strategically placed a 3/8" aluminum rod to stiffen it up and hold the weight of the ECU.

The Evans water pump also showed up this weekend so hopefully all of the bigger purchases are done for now.

The Battery Relocation is almost complete. I'm making sure it accommodates small or large batteries.
