Default How much timing is too much? Procharger 7psi on 91 or 93 octane.

I'm trying to figure out with a procharger @ 7psi on stock ls6 with kb bap.

How many degrees of timing should it be on for either 93 octane or 91 octane?

too much is when it starts to ping. You won't know for absolute sure until you start tuning it

Take logs and adjust as needed.

12 degrees is a good start from 3600 rpm & 0.68 cylinder airmass.

That isn't a ton of boost, I ran mine at 18 degrees with meth at 10lbs for a long time with no issue. Make sure your AFR is good too. Start lower on the timing and increase looking for knock.

There's the ever popular saying: Turn it up until it breaks and then back it off a hair.

Timing should be what your engine wants, where it performs best with no detonation etc.
Tuning will determine this, not the internet.

if it was me, i would look at what timing there is stock. is it 22° from 0.76g up? for 91 octane reduce 1° per 1 psi. add 1° per octane.

but dont worry about it too much. these engines dont respond to timing changes very well. +/- 2° you wont feel any difference for sure.
