Got out with Matt Farah for a "One Take" Pics...
I've known Matt ( Thesmokingtire.com ) for a while, and watched many of his videos, so it was pretty cool to finally get out with him in my supercharged C5!!
He is a natural on camera, and does a GREAT job of letting the viewer of his videos actually feel like they are truly experiencing the ride itself.
He narrates the ride as it happens, and REALLY explodes with "joy" when he hits the go pedal on high HP cars!! I've always got a kick out of that part of his videos. Having seen him in action before, I have to say it was VERY cool, and a little scary, to be sitting in the passengers seat of my own car while he unleashed the power and let out some real verbal jubilation!!
I bought my 98 Coupe new, and have been tweaking/modding it for almost 20 years now. He was very complementary on the power, handling, and overall ride of the car. He also impressed the HELL out of me with his driving skills. We were in the canyons, which is what I really have optimized this car for, and he put the car to task. Toward the second half of the ride, he was getting more comfortable, saying "I'm getting to know this car now" it was at that point that I was hoping the ride would end soon...
Anyway, it will be a month or so before the video comes out, I'll post it up once it happens...
OK Guys, Here's the video!!!

Drifting
I can hardly imagine what that felt like for you Joel, to be sitting in the passenger seat...
I've seen many of his other videos/test drives too.
Looking forward to the Video of your C5, and the drive.

Thanks Guys, The old C5 is still running very good, and actually quite reliable right now...
I drove the car to the Angeles Crest national forest, about 120 miles each way on a Monday morning, LA freeway traffic and all!
