Sorry I am new and need fuel system help.
I am going to be working on my cousins 1000rwhp procharged 2001 ZO6 and need to replace the the fuel system. Are there intank pumps for the early models? What should i be looking at?

A number of vendors & other aftermarket stuff that has the 2 are 3 hats with 225 pumps for the intank to work.
Give Blownbluez06 in here a message on with one for the set up would be the best on his driving. Robert

The intank fuel pump is bad and it has an inline pump as well. I would rather do a dual intank setup and not use an external pump. But I just figured out about the horizontal tank on the early years.

Give RDP store vendor in here a call. They just came out with a great set up for the c7. They do a lot of c5 c6 c7 stuff.
But Bret, Blownbluez06 in here does & has a big shop at his home & has a few guys working full time that does this work all day long. He would be able to sale you what you are in need of & help you for sure.

Next question can the 03-04 top mount tank swap in to the 99-02 side mount with out issues?

Not sure why you would want to swap to the top mounted tank? I'm sure they would fit, but the side mounts have countless options for fuel systems. You can be as basic or as ornate as you want with it. You can either make new feed and return lines or use the factory feed line as your new return line. AN fittings are a breeze to put together so the sky is the limit.
You can buy a complete new hat or just a spacer ring with a fitting. If the car currently has an external pump it probably already has a stand alone fitting coming out of the tank near the hat/sending unit assembly.

Could you please link me a dual intank pump setup good for 1000rwhp for the side mount setup. Everything I have found are for top mounts. I would love to be proved wrong so I can buy it.

I have a used RSI dual pumper hanger for the Late '00-'02 side mount tanks. When I bought it the wiring bulkhead was leaking but I have since replaced it with a brand new bulkhead connector(I have not tested it, went to a surge tank) and I'm selling it for $500 without pumps. Like others have said, there are a few options like Bret Bradbury(BlownBlueZ06) and lonnie's double pumper(no experience with it). I've worked with Bret before and he is a great guy who is very knowledgeable and can hook you up with a pump hanger that can handle your fueling needs.

I agree, Bret can get you set up with dual in tank 450s no problem and that should be good for 1k on e85... he can even do 3 or 4 if you wanted to

Supporting Vendor
I've installed a handful over the years. They offer a few different systems. One uses a Bosch 044 pump and the others use a Holley Pump. They all use external pumps and tap the tank, using tapered NPT fittings. Did you have questions about it? feel free to PM me if you want to ask me directly. I'm an A&A dealer and support my customers throughout their installations 7 days a week.
