Is my Quicktime bellhousing warped ???
Please look at those pics and tell me if i should run it or throw it to garbage
Was the only thing missing before putting the clutch, then engine and new blower in the car...
Bell sit perfectly flat on the block but seems to be off on the torque tube.
Dont pay attention to the level bubble, i only use it because its a prefctly flat bar.
Thanks
Eric

Also they would probably note that they are not responsible since i cut it/modify the housing
Yup its warped and your right, its probably from welding.
When you put a straight edge on it you can clearly see where the warp begin and end.
The highest spot is the threaded hole near the slave cylinder line.
Will put it on a milling and flycut it straight.
Hoping to not get any clerance issue with the clutch measurement...

I agree with both Stevie and Gotjuice, welding most likely caused the warpage, but you can have the bellhousing flycut at the torque tube end and you should be fine , as long as you don't remove too much material say 0.010 to 0.020" max. Using modeling clay fill the gap and torque both pieces together. Unbolt pieces and measure the thickness of the clay , this will tell you how much material you need to remove.
