what style IAT? How is it mounted?

Update: Since posting I have pulled the air filter out for cleaning and it looks great! After washing it, there was fine sediment that collected in the bottom of my wash pan. Not nearly as much as I expected, I would say this pre filter has done an excellent job increasing the performance of the filter.
On a side note - I will be trying to find a way to seal my IAT sensor because I can almost freely blow air through the plug and sensor. I imagine this does not help with boost! It lets way too much air through it. Anyone ever fix this?

That's what I run-- threaded IAT in a bung. I put a little teflon thread sealant on it and it's been fine.

I used the threaded one as well but just drilled a hole in my charge pipe a little smaller than the threads of the sensor and used a socket to tighten it then put a bead of jb weld around it, it's been fine for 4+ years

Got my cover. Does anybody know where I can get a new replacement filter?

Done that, they sent a filter that doesn't fit. So I called them and they said they no longer have the type I/we have. They did take the filter back but I had to pay shipping and if I remember right, a restocking fee. So I ordered one from ECS as their picture of a air filter is what I/we have but what I got was a filter with the outlet NOT in the center.

I really like this idea as I am installing a SC at this time so it has a brandy new clean filter....But, I saw a youtube video where a guy tested airflow. It was very telling to me, at least....I think I will just have to clean my filter pretty often. I appreciate this post though as it was very informative and many folks might be more concerned with dirt then airflow and this thing really filters dirt well. For me, the last thing I want to do is limit any airflow to my SC...
