ProCharger D1 with or without a X

ProCharger D1 with or without a X
Current P1SC-1 setup on a forged LS6 here that puts down good numbers. I’m looking to bump up to the next step and have yet to see a real world D1SC vs D1X comparison. We all know the X has more up top, but it seems that “Old Faithful” beats it on the bottom, mid, and lower part of the upper RPM range. It appears that the “X” is a step above once you hit 6k, but that isn’t in the longest power band with the races I’m in. Quarter, half mile, and top end roll races...I would say the “X” would be the favorite if it could run down the early pull the D1SC should deliver. Considering that I shift in the 6,300 - 6,500 range, I tend to believe the D1SC is the better option. Am I over thinking it or does new technology win out? What say ye group???

I'm also curious how they stack up to each other all things being equal... if someone wants to send me a d1x I can test and compare it to my d1sc

I never had a procharger/supercharger before, I'm unable to tell the difference however it's said to go with the bigger head unit, if the engine fails I will have a excuse to make it bigger. If someone has the D1SC already stick to it but if you have to purchase a new head unit why not go with the latest, more efficient one ? Price is practically the same.
This is the D1X on my C5, as soon as the results came in I will post it here.

Previous mustang dyno as N/A result 409 rwhp / 394 tq
Here are the result, when driving around like under 3k rpm the car feels slow compared to how it was before without procharger, I missed spinning tires at every corner under normal conditions. But when I step on the gas the car respond very quickly and really start it kicks in after 3k rpm. I haven't pass the 70 MPH yet, it just came out of the dyno.

the FAST 102
i have a D1SC and i love it.
actually been building mine over the winter and want to upgrade from the ls6 intake.
i am going to be running a smaller pulley to(MOOORE BOOST), but i plan on upgrading to a F1a later.
Do you know anyone else on here running the LSXR 102 with 20-30psi?
really don't want to cut into my car for a bigger intake

any particular reason why you want to swap out the ls6 intake?... the ls6 is capable of supporting all the power a d1 can make and is a lot stronger than a fast

Well like i said i plan on goin to an f1a, and hopefully thats in the not so distant future. Are all the guys that use their ls6 intake still using the stock throttle body?

Drifting
The ls6 setup is very capable of making all the power either blower can make. Fast intakes are known to split at the joints or crack from boost. Ls6's are capable of 1000 hp with a blower. On my build I switched to square port heads and went with a ls7 intake. The factory intakes are good for boost.

I had the Fast 102mm intake when it was NA but now that I add forced induction it doesn't make any difference or very little. I can said is one of those mods that I regret but I had the money to burn at that time. Unless you want to be showing up your engine, keep to the ls6 manifold.
