Default Fastest youve been with a 4l60E/65/70

All this recent talk about 4l60e has me thinking what are some of you guys ETing with these trans? I'm planning to auto swap my Z but im in the limbo of what trans i know the 60 is the cheapest option even though i would need something that would similiar to the RPM X to hold the power. I havent found anything thats similiar to this post from guys with experience.

I have a handful of mid 9's with TTiX. I don't run it alot at that level, and not licensed, so would I normally turn it down and bracket race in the 10's. I have a new setup now with twin 76mm, that I plan to push further. Hoping to see an 8.9 eventually. Here's a sketchy run down a slippery track, at a private event.

Here's another member that's gone 8.9@160 with a 4l60 in his Z06.

Ive been in the high 9’s with my FLT lvl 6 4L65E. Chuck from FLT told me he’s got a few 65’s out there running in the 8’s. We didn’t get into anything further than that. I haven’t attempted to lean on my setup yet but I’m still trying to get on the dyno .

Yes it made 1050 with the converter locked for a cleaner dyno pull. On the track I run unlocked, so probably right at 1000 or maybe a bit less. I started with an RPM Level 7, that I built up myself to Level X specs, which is mainly adding the Sonnax smart drum.

ALGZ06 has made made many bottom 9sec passes over a number of years and is now running high 8's with his level X.

Awesome you guys are flying. But from mph and ETs doesn’t look like too many short track very hard. My goal is to go 5.7-8s

I had a transbrake but it was really hard on parts. I took it out and worked on the stall setup for a smoother 60' around 1.5. I'll never see a wheelie that's for sure, but has gone 6.0@120. My dream setup for drag is the glide/9" combo, but I'm not serious enough to spend 20k. I'll keep throwing power at it though

My exact idea I would love to put a 400 or 80e in it but for the price of just the drivetrain parts I could build a second car. Eventually I think I will do it but for now the 60/65 is the best option.
