Time for Speed Density or MAF girdle?
so long story short...on my d1sc 383 stroker with 3.4 pulley, 6 rib belt I was getting belt slip and just boost 9psi dropping to 7psi by redline....so I said f it and installed a&a secondary drive....wow....I know the balancer is 10% overdrive, but my boost was 16psi and still had about 400rpm before redline. .it works so good that my maf plastic housing broke...what do u guys think?? what is all required to convert to speed density, i remeber my tuner saying somthing about a cobalt ss map sensor?? I hear if the the weather changes it needs to be tuned again??

You'll need atleast a 2.5 bar map sensor(which I actually have sitting on my counter with adapter pigtail) and you will need a pipe to delete the MAF. Then you'll need a tune.

Just map sensor so it reads a wider range, yank the mag, the retune. Not more maf map to change when tuning also.
The weather thing is total bs. Cars come from the factory with sd and run fine.

might as well go to a zr1 map, you will need the sensor and pigtail then wire that into your harness then a retune of course... you can also consider a new mafless charge pipe just to clean things up... if you do remove the maf completely then you will need to install a new iat sensor into the charge pipe and tap the existing iat wires from your maf into the new iat pigtail
